PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The aerobic technologies digester processes up to 5,000kg of organic food waste in a 24hr period. The machine discharges grey water into the drainage system. There is no solid waste, the machine never needs to be cleaned and there is no smell. Aerobic digestion accelerates the natural biodegradable process in a simple and effective way.
The water discharge does not require a trade effluent license.
Simply pour the food waste into the machine and close the lid. The machine does the rest.
No. All of the organic food waste will be digested and will run away to drain as waste water. The only items that will need removing from the appliance from time to time are non-digestible items that may accidentally fall into the appliance.
This machine incorporates an internal, WRAS-approved air break tank. This would normally provide the required backflow prevention, but it is the installer’s responsibility to confirm this.
No; in fact it does not have a tank or hold any water, with the exception of the drain pump and water latent in the food waste, which would be dispersed before servicing.
The machine can be located outside, Aerobic Technologies clad the machine with a protective cover.
It is a natural process and the inoculant blend of micro-organisms are manufactured exclusively for Aerobic Technologies.
The digester accepts and breaks down all organic waste including meat, fish, vegetables, bones, fish and lobsters. Non-organic waste that cannot be processed includes; stones, food packaging and general waste.
The machines are manufactured in different capacities, so for example an ATL300 can breakdown 300kg of food waste in a 24 hour period.
Compliant with the following standards:
Yes, the lid has an automatic shut off switch that stops the mechanism. Items can then be safely removed if necessary.
The organisms self multiply continuously and live in the stainless steel chamber provided the ambient temperature is maintained and the machine is fed.
The Chips assist in agitating the waste in the chamber. They get replaced every 12/18 months as the rough edges get worn down. They do not get washed out of the machine as there is a mesh barrier.
If the machine is unused, the organisms will die off. The machine needs to have small continuous feeds. If and when the organisms lose strength, the machine gets topped up. The organisms are supplied in powder form and our poured into the chamber out of a packet.
